Shocking Practices seen Gorge Scrambling

Information sent to us this week by M.Edwards a freelance Gorge Walking instructor. sent today 11/03/2011 at 3pm
''Dean, Nigel. Seen some horrendous practices going on gorge scrambling in the gorge yesterday. Looks like the group was a local authority or college/school group rather than any commercial operator.
Couldn't believe that at this time of year, a group would be gorge walking and operating without wetsuits!. This group didn't even have bouyancy aids. Would you know who these idiots/guys were ?"

Eds. We all know this goes on. And some seem to keep getting away with it. You should contact the AALS. I would say that as a minimum at this time of year. Groups gorge scrambling should be wearing full winter suits, bouyancy aids and helmets.
