If you’re after relaxing, our local rivers and canals provide the perfect place for open boat canoeing. An activity more suited to exploring, passing through quaint country side villages, stop off for a picnic and relax away from the stresses of daily life. These open boats really are stable. You’d have to try hard to tip these canoes!
Or if you think you have the skills and more importantly the attitude, then try taking on some rougher water kayaking. Plunge and bounce through boilers and stoppers further upstream.
South Wales has truly some beautiful rivers and canals made for canoeing such as the Wye, Teifi and the Neath & Brecon canals. These canals offer the beginner or a wet weather alternative flat water.
All equipment is provided and you’ll get expert canoeing instruction at some of the best venues.
