The great thing about a charity abseil event is that your event will appeal to a wide audience, those seeking a challenge and those people who love the thrill and experience of abseiling. Charity abseiling unlike other events can be done by people of all ages, abilities and sizes.

"The team at Adventures were very experienced abeiling instructors, knowing that for many people it was their first time and a very scary experience. However their approach to each individual was very calm, reassuring and professional. A big thank you to all the staff."  Lisa.

How do I know which buildings and structures are OK to abseil from ?

The potential is huge, whether it is a church, office building, bridge or viaduct etc.  Once you have decided on a venue, you will first need to get permission for the event to take place from the owner or Health & Safety Manager. We can help in assisting you with this.

Once this is done, we will ask you for an initial photo from which we can do an initial suitability check. The next step is for us to then visit the site and produce a written risk assessment for the event.

How many people can take part in the abseil event ?

For each abseil line setup, we can normally operate 10 people per hour. We will always aim to get the maximum amount of participants abseiling that we possibly can. Multiple abseil lines can be setup to accommodate larger numbers for your event.
