Provisional Bookings
Provisional bookings do not hold firm until the required deposit is paid, booking is completed and payment received.
Deposits
- 50% of package cost for all accommodation based packages.
- 50% for all offsite packages.
- £20 Quad Biking bookings.
- £20 High Ropes package.
- £200 for group sizes in excess of 25 persons doing any of the above activities.
Final Payment
All outstanding amounts must be paid prior to or on the day of activities.
Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-returnable.
Age restrictions
Minimum age restrictions for activities is 7 years of age and 12 years for Paint-balling.
Stag and Activity Packages
Rooms will be booked on 2 persons sharing unless otherwise agreed. Upgrades can be made by contacting us.
Fitness Level
Many of our activities, particularly surfing and gorge scrambling are physically demanding, and you should ensure you have an adequate level of fitness for your chosen activity. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition such as high blood pressure, epilepsy, we strongly advise you to consult your doctor for advice and to inform the centre prior to booking. All candidates for water activities should be able to swim. Participants are required to complete our medical form prior to your activity.
Alterations made by Adventures Wales
Whilst every effort is made to ensure courses are run, we reserve the right to vary or change any course or activity as we deem necessary to avoid dangerous or unsuitable activity conditions. In the unlikely event, an alternative activity date or activity will be offered.
Coasteering
Coasteering courses are subject to coastal conditions. If unable to run this activity, Adventures Wales will run an alternative activity (most likely gorge scrambling.)
Safety
All members of an activity group must comply with regulations and instructors instructions. Should the safety of yourself or others be jeopardised by any person, then that person will be asked to leave the activity.
Equipment
Participants should bring the following items of clothing with them:
All water based activities: Swimsuit, towel, suitable shoes.
Non-water based activities: Suitable clothing for outdoors and weather conditions.
Transport
Unless otherwise arranged, Adventures Wales do not provide transport to or from our activity destinations. For all activities other than high ropes and Paintball, participants will need to arrange transport from the centre at Kenfig to the activity destination. Car parking and secure lock-up of valuable are the responsibility of the client. Adventures Wales will not be responsible for client vehicles and valuables left at activity sites.
Arrival
Unless otherwise arranged, participants need to arrive at the centre 15 minutes prior to your activity start time. Payment and registration will be taken at this time.
